On Sunday April 29th – from 2 – 4pm - Annual Spring Art Show at duCret
View the works of duCret student artists and tour the school with co-workers, family and friends. Mix & mingle with students and faculty and see what takes place at duCret. Pick up brochures, get to know local artists and chat with the Director! Free admission, refreshments and live musicians. There will be a small awards presentation where art show winners will receive recognition and will have their artwork displayed at Swain Galleries. On Thursday, May 16 at 8pm – The Gardner Museum Heist Exhibit & Lecture:
The duCret School is NJ’s oldest private art school, it is nationally accredited and approved by the State of New Jersey Department of Education/ Labor and Workforce Development. duCret offers a 3 year full time art career program, adult night school/ part time art program, yearly workshops, children’s and teens art workshops and 3 evening Open Studios for the general public. Every Friday in the month of June ( 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 ) from 6 – 9pm – Junebug Artfest
duCret School of Art will be hosting 8 vendor tables revealing purchase-able original artwork by duCret students. Mingle in a family oriented environment on the main streets of Metuchen between 6pm and 9pm, when the town invites the community to walk their sidewalk market. Sculpture, photography, paintings, jewelry etc.
