Introduction to the tools and techniques used to create standard, template-driven websites  (Portfoliobox, Weebly, Wix, etc.) and content management systems (WordPress). Topics covered include the history of the Internet, software applications, privacy, accessibility and copyright issues on the Internet, information architecture, social media tools, introduction to JavaScript/JQuery, content rich sites and more. Students focus on research, analysis, and development in order to create enhanced websites.
