Character Sculpting

FRIDAY      9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

FRIDAY / 9 AM - 12 PM
FEB 2 - MAY 18, 2018

Students will learn the professional process of building their own maquette, beginning with full body character/creature concept design fundamentals. Then they will learn to proportionately build a wire armature and to dynamically pose their creature, while learning sculpting techniques to form the maquette, with anatomical knowledge. This is a great course for those seeking to create marketable icons at vending conventions and builds upon the necessary skill sets for use in the motion picture industry for set design, creature design and stage and background careers.
