In this class will learn how to 3D sculpt characters or organic models in 3D computer software that will let you explore your creative juices, weather you are a traditional sculptor or have never sculpted before, this is the class for you! Students will learn Sculptris, as well as the interface options and basics of 3D sculpting. Discover how to sculpt basic shapes like the lips, nose and eyes and move to representational clothing, objects and props that can be added to characters. Learn how to properly create them and attach them to the 3D figures you've created. Materials needed: while class will be held in the computer lab, please bring a computer laptop and /or tablet.

A course for beginners to advanced, whether interested in a pottery career or for personal enjoyment working with Earth extracted clays and natural glazes. Work on individual and group projects making functional and non-functional objects using hand building methods. A wide variety of decorating techniques will be introduced, encouraging creativity and thoughtfulness during design. Advanced students will continue exploring shape and color, using white and red stoneware, red and white slips, and ceramics pigments in green, blue and red-brown. All students will learn techniques to experiment and develop expressions in an earth-honest way.
