The application of creativity through stained glass is a unique career choice that in time, can harbor tremendous professional and personal rewards.  This introductory to intermediate workshop series in glass design can give you the insight and experience you need to create small pieces for enjoyment or to gain a sense what what a career in stained glass would be like. Design, draw, cut, tape and solder stained glass in the Tiffany technique. Work with varied glass types. Advanced students will be encouraged to design and create more intricate and complex 2-D and 3-D projects.

Get acquainted with watercolor starting with washes, working the brush, understanding composition and rendering. Move on to fundamentals of perspective, building forward with lighting and angles, painting in tones, developing form and depth, adding people, faces, objects and final detailing.  Materials needed: 1" wash brush, # 7 & #10 watercolor brush, Pro series watercolor paint: Payne's Gray, Burn Sienna, Sepia, Vandyke brown, palette tray, jar, paper towels, cosmetic sponge, fine point sharpie, 2B pencil & eraser, #80 Bainbridge board (6 sheets) 15 x 20 and heavy watercolor paper pad (16 x 20).
